The visits will be spread out by one hour and you may join for the 2nd or 3rd garden if you cannot make the first visit. We will begin at 5:30 and the visits be spaced out by one hour. -September Meeting

-Plantscapers Nursery (E2051 Luxemburg Rd, Luxemburg)
-Guest presenter. Ron Fortmann, owner of Ancient Arts Bonsai and President of the Madison Club, will be joining us for an interactive day. Ron has nearly thirty years of bonsai experience and will be displaying a tree at the US National Bonsai Exhibition next weekend in Rochester NY. Ron will be providing design advice for club member trees. Each member may bring 2 trees to the event and we will plan on Ron spending approximately 15-20 minutes reviewing and discussing each tree (I would recommend if you are bringing a tree to also bring a notepad to take notes and to sketch the tree as he is discussing). This is a great opportunity for new members to learn about design considerations of pre bonsai material. Ron is charging a very reasonable fee for a full day event and will have tools, pots, and soil available for purchase. I encourage members to support Ron if you are in need of any supplies.
- Potluck lunch from 12-1, please bring a dish to pass.
Hope to see you all there.
